If we're honest: the number three suits us. When we bought the Rebenhof in 2005, we often thought... three houses? Well, it wasn't originally planned as a hotel, but as an apartment complex, and from this point of view, open staircases between walls are certainly understandable. We still fell in love because it had something unique and recognizable. And the location – we immediately gave our hearts to it. Idyllic on the hillside, the small town of Beckstein next to it and vineyards opposite - we love it (still).

Afterwards there was a fresh wind, or better yet a Mediterranean breeze. The location in the wine valley, the terrace with the large oleander bushes, accents in terracotta and rattan made both of us, Nane and Martin, want to go south and so a cozy Tuscan feeling moved into the Becksteiner Rebenhof. But everything has its time, and that's a good thing.

Back to the three: Three Bauers have been working for a few years. Our daughter Alisa has made her way through the trendy hotel industry and has now found her way home. Alisa comes to Martin and Nane. It feels great! Three houses, three hearts, then three pillars (living, wine, wellness) – the three suits us well! That's why we're no longer called Becksteiner Rebenhof, but MANALISA.

In addition to the three of us Bauers, there is also Philipp (Bauer), his son or brother - but he does marketing things, partly for us, partly “somewhere else”. As a “representative for small families”, Philipp’s wife Tati is an integral part of our team. The family spirit is also complemented by a wonderful group of hard-working bees who help us ensure that everything is always immaculate, that you are treated honestly and well and that you can book beauty treatments in the SPA.
